Alan was in Teri’s school. His mother was constantly in trouble with the law and would often have him on the streets all hours of the night.

Once, when she was arrested, Alan went to the precinct with his mother. The precinct called Teri. The police said they legally cannot give the baby to her, a family member had to do so. As a result, his grandmother was called who then gave Alan to Teri. He’s been with Teri ever since and he is now 21.

Alan, who has just finished school, works in a wood shop and wants to make furniture for his room. Alan rides horses English style, competes in the Special Olympics in swimming, and plays bocci and golf. He is active and a very loving part of the family.
